EN ESPAÑA SI HAY DOPAJE
La Operación Puerto (OP)[1] es una operación contra el dopaje en el deporte de élite realizada en España. Este proceso permitió desarticular una red de dopaje liderada por el doctor Eufemiano Fuentes; dicha red ofrecía diversas prácticas ilícitas para mejorar el rendimiento de sus clientes deportistas: hormonas (incluyendo EPO, testosterona y otros anabolizantes), medicamentos y transfusiones sanguíneas.
Las investigaciones de la Guardia Civil comenzaron en febrero de 2006 y desembocaron en detenciones y registros el 23 de mayo, fecha en que se conoció la existencia de dicha operación. Se anunció entonces que entre los clientes de la red de dopaje desarticulada había futbolistas, tenistas, ciclistas y atletas. Sin embargo, en el sumario del caso el instituto armado sólo identificó a 58 ciclistas como clientes de la red. La investigación se vio lastrada al no permitir el juez Serrano a los investigadores que se analizara toda la documentación incautada.
Al no ser el dopaje un delito en ese momento en España, el juez Serrano sólo estudió un posible delito contra la salud pública, que sólo incriminaría a los responsables de la red, no a sus clientes (los deportistas). El juez, al no hallar dicho delito, archivó el caso, quedando absueltos todos los imputados. La Audiencia Provincial de Madrid ordenó en dos ocasiones la reapertura del caso, hallándose en estos momentos a la espera de un juicio oral.
Además, el juez Serrano se negó a facilitar a los organismos deportivos internacionales (AMA y UCI) las pruebas recabadas durante la investigación, lo que impidió que los deportistas identificados como clientes de la red de dopaje recibieran sanciones deportivas.
Ante la negativa de las autoridades españolas a continuar con las investigaciones o a facilitar a otros organismos datos para que los clientes pudieran ser sancionados, países como Alemania e Italia iniciaron sus propias investigaciones sobre el caso. Las investigaciones realizadas por esos países han permitido, de momento, la confirmación (y consiguiente sanción) de seis clientes deportistas, todos ellos (salvo uno) ya identificados por la Guardia Civil.

VUELVE YESENIA CENTENO
Ya había escrito sobre esta atleta en una entrada anterior,pues venia a Bilbao cobrando buenos fijos y .dio positivo y además tiro de la manta,dando pie a la llamada operación Grial de la que entre otros paquillo fue uno de los afectados (en su casa,la guardia civil encontró sustancias dopantes)¿y de que sirvió el positivo de yesenia? DE NADA.
Paquillo se le quedo la sancion a un año en vez de dos y probable mente le dejen participar en los juegos de Londres 2012

El caso es que volviendo a lo de yesenia,se le presenta una nueva oportunidad como ya tuvieran otros tramposos del deporte,fichada por el club A.D.MARATÓN MADRID.

Con la que esta cayendo en estos momento en tema de dopaje,voy a cambiar de tercios por que ya me resulta monótono el tema,me explico: el caso contador,que ha dado positivo,el lo niega(que sorpresa)...pues si oiga ,dirá como paquillo fernandez cuando le pillo la guardia civil con todo el material en su casa,dirá que el nunca se ha dopado,es un derecho que tenemos ,el no declararnos culplables.le sancionaran ,recurrirá a la justicia ordinaria y le dará la razón y le declararan inocente al cabo del tiempo como paso con Roberto Heras,o el magnifico Pep Guardiola,fin de la historia.

El director ejecutivo de la Federación Internacional de Natación, Cornel Marculescu, criticó duramente en una entrevista a la AFP la política mundial contra el dopaje que hizo posible, según él, la polémica participación del brasileño César Cielo en el Mundial.
"Hoy el nuevo código es como ir a un tribunal civil: con un buen abogado te escapas, si tienes un mal abogado te sancionan", dijo el responsable en una entrevista el viernes.El nadador brasileño, que había dado positivo por un furosemida (un diurético) en un control en mayo, fue autorizado sin embargo por el Tribunal Arbitral del Deporte (TAS) a estar en el Mundial de Shanghai, donde ya ganó dos medallas de oro, en 50 metros mariposa y 50 metros libres.
Su medalla en los 50 mariposa fue recibida por abucheos por varios nadadores, que consideran un escándalo la presencia del brasileño en la ciudad china.
"Sí, entiendo la reacción, es normal, la gente se siente frustrada", dijo Marculescu , y explicó que la FINA tiene la intención de llevar el caso de Cielo ante la Agencia Mundial Antidopaje.
En su decisión, el TAS ratificó la opinión de la federación brasileña de natación, que se había limitado a amonestar a Cesar Cielo sin sancionarlo.
"Cuando estás en un tribunal civil, con un buen abogado y una buena argumentación puedes influir al jurado. El problema es que la gama (de sanciones) es demasiado grande", dijo el responsable.
En su decisión el TAS decidió mantener la simple advertencia para Cielo, de 24 años, y a sus dos compatriotas Nicolas dos Santos y Henrique Barbosa aunque sí sancionó a Vinicius, el otro implicado, a un año de suspenión al tratarse de la segunda vez que no seguía el reglamento antidopaje.
Según el Tribunal, la presencia de una pequeña cantidad de furosemida, una sustancia que se suele usar para esconder el uso de otros productos dopantes, fue "accidental" y se explica porque los nadadores tomaron un complemento alimenticio con cafeína.
"No es fácil explicar a la gente que el uso de una misma sustancia puede implicar sanciones desde la simple advertencia hasta dos años de suspensión", aseguró Marculescu.
El responsable de la FINA quiere pedir a la AMA una revisión de las normas antidopaje revisadas hace dos años y que permiten ahora a los atletas escapar a las sanciones si consiguen demostrar circunstancias atenuantes.
"Ahora es muy complicado. Antes era más fácil, tenías la sustancia y no había excusas para explicar como había llegado a tu cuerpo, era problema tuyo", recordó Marculescu.

Para su defensa Cielo contrató al abogado estadounidense Howard Jacobs, que también defendió a otros estrellas del deporte implicadas en casos de dopaje como la nadadora Jessica Hardy o la aleta Marion Jones.
Tras el caso de Cielo, la FINA anunció que volvería a realizar análisis de sangre durante el Mundial de Shanghai para establecer un "pasaporte biológico" que permita detectar variaciones sospechosas a lo largo del tiempo.
